Fly- spread your wings

hello And welcome back.
Recently I had the honor of being Guest designer at .vintagejourney. The challenge is things with wings .
I made this layout with pics of my daughter trying a flip while jumping in the lake. it was real flight for her.

 Step by step process

 1. place the pic on the scrapbook paper, draw rough lines around them.
 2. applied gesso with a cut credit card . giving some texture.

 3. i cut an old cork board to matte the pictures.then inked it with distress ink at the edges.

 4. then sprayed some water for ink to spread.
5.applied various colors of blue from rangers ink
6. then splattered some water to get texture
6. used tim holtz ruler stencil
7 stamped with timholtz cling stamps
8.  added some cheese cloth   to enhance the effect of water splash
                          9. added paper buttons, leftover cardboard after taking out buttons, flowers and
timholtz rubons.

The color scheme and sketch is from offtherailsscrapbooking.

steampunk Altered Notebook

I am excited to be guest designer over ourcreativecorner6.. It is really an honor to be a part of these highly talented and motivated team,
here is my take on their challenge

I used 4 layers of cardboard to create the depth , needed to place the watch dial.
Started  by cutting the circle in the cardboard big enough to fit the dial, then increasing the size by .5 cm radius for each layer

making magic- altered journal cover

This month i have the privilege of being Guest designer at anythingbutcutechallenge.

here is my take on the challenge

The process
1. I used the paint brush to make the wand.
2. added  a big bead at the end of the brush, and 2 small beads at the hair side.

3.then drip hot glue over the whole brush added some very small beads to add more texture.

4 once all dried, paint the brush with black gesso
 5. then dry brush golden and copper color
6. I added the crackle medium in the center, then applied some yellow and green paint and thinned it with water.
&. i stencilled a piece of cardboard and glued them in the corners.
embossed the chipies from creative embellishents with golden powder from Stampendous.
coloured some cheese cloth with green paint and added between the chippie and the stencilled cardboard.
